WHAT’S ON MY PLAYLIST?

All players need motivation, whether it’s idolizing a top player or drawing inspiration from music, movies or books.

Stanford-bound OF Kale’a Tindal, #5 in the 2026 Line Drive Hot 100, has developed into one of the top outfielders in the nation.

Tindal helped OC Batbusters-K. Stith win a 14U Alliance national championship in 2023 and she’s a big reason OC Batbusters-Stith is a contender for the 18U Alliance national championship this season.

Here are some of the songs on her playlist:
  • “Ex-Factor” by Lauryn Hill: Lauryn Hill is my favorite artist right now and this was the first song that I was introduced to!

  • “Lose Control” by Missy Elliot (ft.) Fatman Scoop and Ciara: This song has been my go-to hype song for years for softball!

  • “Take Care of Business” by Nina Simone: I love this song because it makes me feel like I’m in an espionage movie. I play it whenever I’m about to do homework or any other task that requires a lot of attention.

  • “Folded” by Kehlani: I always hear this song when I get my hair braided and now it’s a favorite!

  • “As” by Stevie Wonder: My grandma used to play this song whenever we would visit her in Oregon. Ever since then, I’ve always associated it with her.
